Hand written minutes of the meetings of the Vestry for the parish of St. John, Barbados, arranged chronologically for the period 1649-1699. The minutes for each meeting detail the date of the meeting, vestrymen in attendance, their positions and the business transacted. Business conducted included building and maintenance of the church, churchyard and highways, poor relief, fishing rights and details of the Minister's house which was to be built. |
